When I first started out in the ‘make money online’ niche I had an awful lot of success with advertising in newspapers and magazines but I would have to be completely honest and say that this form of advertising is not something that I take advantage of at the moment but that is not saying that it does not work, far from it in fact.

Word of mouth is not usually associated with online marketing but you should always consider that any kind of advertising which brings in customers is worth thinking about and if you treat your customers properly, each one could be worth a lot of money to you. The internet version of word of mouth is viral marketing and once this is set up properly you will have the best advertising.

Something that I was told when I first started out in marketing which I have never forgotten is that if you want to advertise online you should first find somewhere with a flood of traffic & simply stand in front of it with whatever you have to offer. I fully realise that this is easier said than done for many people. Especially if they choose somewhere that has little or no traffic at all.

‘The money is in the list’, is a well known phrase but you may be delighted to know that it is possible to advertise to a list even if you don’t have one yourself. It can take some time to build up a list of quality subscribers but what if I told you that you could basically piggy back on someone else’s list list at a cost which is far less then you would probably imagine.
